Office Review
Demand - After a record year in 2002 when the total take-up was more than 800,000 sq ft, office take-up in 2003 reached only 365,000 sq ft. However, there is a more optimistic outlook for take-up space in 2004 (see Supply below).
Supply - availability still stands at 1.2 million sq ft, which has remained constant over the past year or so. This will be increased over the next few years, with schemes such as Baskerville House, which will provide 206,000 sq ft of grade A office space.
