Birmingham College of Law

The UK College of Law is the leading provider of legal education in England and Wales, enjoying a growing international reputation. The college provides a nationwide coverage, with full-time courses available at the nationwide locations - two in Central London, and further facilities at Chester, Guildford, York and more recently, Birmingham. More than half of all UK solicitors trained at the College.

The College opened a new international centre in Birmingham in September 2001 - it is the first all-purpose law school to be built in the UK for 20 years - and the 45,000 square foot building represents an £8 million investment by the College. On first opening its doors, the Birmingham branch enrolled over 300 students and these numbers have since risen to 900 part-time and full-time enrollments..  The College's newest branch is going from strength to strength, having firmly established itself within the city's legal community, and within months of its opening having been awarded a 'very good' rating by the Law Society.

It will consolidate its position as the nationwide provider of legal training. Birmingham is a vibrant and entrepreneurial city hosting the largest concentration of lawyers outside London.

Located in the city's regenerating Jewellery Quarter, the latest addition to the College's branch network has redesigned and refurbished facilities, tailor-made for The College of Law.
