Birmingham International Airport is one of the UK’s fastest growing airports, handling over 9.3 million passengers in 2005.
There has been a strong growth of direct scheduled services from the airport, now totalling 60 destinations worldwide, including direct daily services to over 40 destinations. Many European destinations are enjoying increased frequencies in services and there has also been notable increase in traffic to Asia and Australia as result of the increased availability of services to Dubai and Ashkhabad.
